MICHAEL J. PRATT, CFAâ
Michael
joined Harold C. Brown & Co. in 1982, upon graduation from Canisius
College with a B.A. Currently a senior vice president and an owner of the
firm, he is a senior portfolio manager who works with the team’s clients. Michael was previously the firm’s director of research and serves on the
firm’s investment council, which meets weekly to guide Harold C. Brown &
Co.’s investment philosophy and decision-making.
A CFA®
charterholder or Chartered Financial Analyst®, Michael is a member of the
CFA Institute, the Buffalo Society of Security Analysts, and the Bond Club
of Buffalo. He also serves on the Bishop’s Lay Advisory Council and the
board of Holy Family Communications, as chairman of the board of trustees
of Holy Angels Academy, and as a member of the audit committee for the
foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo.
